Innovation in cities is a complex process, relying on an interplay of public, private and institutional actors. It is not just a process of investment, but a process of change, which can be manifested in new practices, projects, built environments and investments.
As an inter-disciplinary team, Interlace-Invent ApS has developed its own methodologies that integrate expertise and up-to-date research results with our ability to provide leadership in complex projects. We engage the local context and key stakeholder groups through systematic interviews and surveys, mapping resources, intentions and visions as an integral part of all project work. Further, we deploy the latest theories on issues such as innovation management, knowledge transfer, urban innovation environments and talent attraction to construct a framework of analysis and strategy development.
Our systematic international benchmarking of practices, policies and resources provides a differentiated view not based on quoting websites, but having first hand access to experiences and project leaders. This allows us to develop strategies that are achievable by local stakeholders, yet internationally competitive and unique.
We support our customers and partners throughout the implementation process, which can result in the creation of new companies, institutions, investment or training programmes.
