International Organisations, Nations & Regions
Regional, national and international policy forms an important framework condition in which cities can play their roles as drivers of innovation and progress. At the same time, national policies benefit from building on the local innovations in policy and their results that may inspire new practices.
Over the past years we have delivered policy research and advice on themes such as the branding of research and innovation for inward investment; modes of knowledge transfer between research and industry; regional and international cluster policy; attraction of specific inward investments; open innovation policies; lead market creation; and international collaboration.
Interlace-Invent has delivered trans-national policy projects to e.g. the European Commission and Nordic Council of Ministers; National policy projects to e.g. the governments of Estonia and the Nordic countries; Regional policy projects to Catalonia, Northern Portugal, and Oresund.
